The Flock Light is a groundbreaking rear bicycle light designed to significantly enhance cyclist visibility and safety on the road. After winning the prestigious Australian James Dyson Award in 2020 for its innovative design, and following a highly successful Kickstarter campaign in 2022, The Flock Light is now available for purchase online and through select independent retailers.
Invented by Tim Ottaway while completing his Industrial Design degree at RMIT, The Flock Light sets itself apart by lighting up your legs at night while you ride, making you more visible. This innovation allows cyclists to be seen up to 5.5 times sooner than with standard lights, making cyclists recognisable as humans, not just flashing points.

Light Modes
1. SOLO BIOMOTION - 4 HRS
Maximizes safety on solo rides and commutes in low light conditions. Full strength Biomotion Lighting onto your legs and a rear facing flash pattern that doesn't blind others at night.
2. GROUP BIOMOTION - 6 HRS
Maximises safety on Bunch rides in Low Light. Half Strength Biomotion Lighting and Solid Rear LED. Bright enough for riding in bunches without blinding others.
3. DAY FLASH - 12 HRS
A high intensity irregular flash mode to Maximise daytime visibility.
4. ECO FLASH - 100 HRS
Low strength, high frequency flash but still packs a punch. Conserve battery and maximise run time.
